Hi my name is Aaminah!

I have studied and worked in childcare most of my life. In my teens I  was still working out what I wanted to do in my life. I took a different path and went into retail and advertising. I tried to find what makes me happy and that wasn't it.

The childcare path came back into my life and from then on working with children gave me the happiness I was looking for. Everyone wants a career that makes them want to get up and go. I have definately found mine!

I got the opportunity to look after a child for over a year. I went to play groups such as music groups, story time, movement groups and also messy play groups. I loved every single play group. The one that stood out to me was the messy play group.

After going to many messy play groups, I decided to open Sticky Fingers, in my community. There was nothing like it in our area, and all children deserve the same opportunities.

Why did I open a messy play group?

My reason is.... SMILES! The groups are free flow play, children are smiling, experimenting, laughing and having lots of fun. Who doesn't want to see their child happy and having fun!

I made a promise to myself that every child that comes to my messy play would leave with a smile on their face and memories to remember.
